Shapiro’s Article On President Bush

I’ve attached a link to an article on how disgraceful this country has been towards President Bush.
We all know President Bush has not been conservative by any means, but I still consider him to be one of the greastest presidents of all time. He inherited a country in the midst of economic turmoil. The "dot com" bubble had just burst, and accounting scandals were rocking the country. It turns out that the great Clinton economy was one of the biggest frauds you never heard about. President Bush manages to right the ship and just as he does we suffer the worst terrorist attack of all time. We trace the origins of the attack to Afghanistan and launch a full scale invasion. We discover terrorists and weapons in Iraq and launch another attack. Unfortunately it was during this time that the media began to treat terrorists like victims and cover up the fact that Iraq had more chemical weapons than Nazi Germany. The rest is history, and I believe one day history will show the great man that President Bush truly is.

I am a senior Canadian who greatly admires Pres. Bush for many reasons. He is pro-life, pro-family, and pro-religion, and seems to be a very sincere man.
I am in a University class with an American professor (recently come from the States).
When the subject of the Amer. election came up, some to the students railed against Bush with all the stupid reasons that they heard by the American “drive-by” media. When they asked him who he was supporting, he very timidly said “Pres.Bush”.
Then all the “Democratic Party” talking-points were thrown at him. Unbelievable, how gullible and uninformed people are.
Because I am older and am very informed on politics, (and I have Fox News lol) I was happy to wait until they vented, and then told them pretty much as you just said in your article. I also predicted that in a few years Pres.Bush will be seen as a great, strong, and dedicated leader who refused to fall into liberal ideas.
I admire his steadfastness, his personal humility, and his strong love of family….(unlike poor old Clinton!)
But, about the new guy, I can only say — he is a charlatan, a fraud, and perhaps, as someone else said, “the greatest con man that ever lived.” To hypnotize and seduce a great country like America, is a total disgrace. But,of course, he had many co-conspirators.
